As a professional hospice social worker, Leslie Stampler has had the opportunity to learn many amazing things—not just
about dying, but about living too! She has studied and practiced holistic approaches to well-being, as well as yoga and
spirituality. Eager to bring her insights to others, Leslie developed the
WriteandSeek
program. The program facilitates the
personal growth of its participants, helping them increase their happiness and develop a greater awareness of who they are.
Leslie’s
WriteandSeek
technique involves guided writing exercises using poetry, prose, and music as springboards for discussion,
inspiration and growth. She offers both individual counseling and group workshops. No one working with Leslie
need have any writing experience or “artistic” skill to enjoy and benefit from her programs.
INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS: Tailored to the issues that the client is working on, these sessions employ some simple but powerful
writing excercises which help to clarify areas of strength and resilience. Leslie will utilize prose, poetry, and/or music
relating to the clients goals.
WORKSHOPS:
WriteandSeek
workshops focus on exploring a specific topic. The workshops last for three to four hours and every
participant is asked to agree to complete confidentiality. Fostering a flow of creative energy among the attendees, the
workshops incorporate learning, writing, sharing and deep listening—as well as a great deal of laughter and fun.
